NC Housing, Race, and the Red Scare Grils

Red Scare on Race—Bad News for Sluggo, Wilmington Screws up Housing Market,

Before anyone comments, Grils is intentional. It refers to the online right’s spelling of Girls, and is meant to to be edgy like that of Poast (for post), Twatter (for twitter), etc. but such spellings are also meant to mess with the coder’s algo. And so, I use them.

There’s a lot of jealousy from the tranny left. Note the self-important writer—this person👇—his name is Brock, by the way:

And lied about it being all white, and then hated the fact it was very heterosexual. Read the story—it drips with resentment of “why won’t they date me.”

But this growing resentment on the left, only serves to make a point that the Democrat party, and by extension people like Her Great Rotundity, Sluggo, PBUH, and aspiring actor, McHugh, are facing a losing battle over a smaller share of the pie—race talk does not work anymore.

Case in point this week when someone named “Big Balls” poasted a bunch of “raysis” stuff as a teenager, and of course the legacy trans media got all offended. Elon Musk conducted a survey on Twatter, and overwhelmingly, the based wizard Big Balls was reinstated:

Our new King, JD Vance (front runner now for #48) appropriately chimed in on the Democrat doxxing of Big Balls:

The Democrats have been using race so much as a hateful fabricated wedge for a long time, and so often, and more so of late, illogically, they have officially done 2 things at once: 1) overplayed their race game to the point of making it meaningless, and 2) driven a majority of Americans to not give 2 shits about their tantrums, especially since Democrats are the racists.

As Vance wrote (above) we are really done with all your emotional blackmail, especially because all of it is FAKE, and we should have grace about stupid things done in our youth .

Got that? She was saying we are all racists. LOL. She always says the prayer at town council meetings for some reason, and what does she plea for all the time? Grace. She means we should have grace, not her.

This leads me to the latest poast by Anna from Red Scare—the most based grils on the internets:

Generally speaking, this is entirely spot on. The democrats keep screaming about race to a bunch of voters who are not….raysis at all. There is a part of their base that thinks racism exists, so this fires up those ill-informed voters. But for the most part, the rest of us are yawning, especially since Democrats have been in charge for decades and passed a plethora of legislation, and yet, have not done one thing to stem the tide of racism according to their own words? They still think we are as racist as when their own party was wearing hoods they never apologized for. In other words, Democrats have been in charge, why has not racism been handled IF we are to believe their rhetoric? Why have they been such losers on race? These are logical questions.

Because the Democrats can’t say we are “post-racial” as Anna notes correctly. To do so would be to admit we’ve improved, and of course, the Democrats would lose their gravy train of laundered funds, like they get through USAID. If in fact race division improved, and this is especially the case for their party, then they would not have a base left anymore. Therefore, racists must exist in perpetuity in order for their party to exist. And, of course, they must be racists themselves because they have to blame others for the problems (whites, asians, and now….hispanics) for ongoing racism.

But Anna is correct—people really are not all that concerned about race because they are colorblind. We can thank the Republicans for this, who actually, won a war over this very issue. Democrats have always been pissed off they lost that war because Republicans were the ones who took their slaves…and yes, they even took slaves from black slaveholders. Yes, there were black slaveholders.

So people on the Leland Council will scream race, but they are increasingly talking to….no one.

This is why race hustler, Maxine Waters failed so badly this week, claiming, not getting into the Dept of Education was “just like” Democrats not letting in blacks to school buildings. The irony is rich….not to mention the non-sequiter reveals the bankruptcy of Democrat thought:

Housing in New Hanover—how to Raise Taxes and not Handle a Growing “problem”

Have you heard? Wilmington/New Hanover is all a flutter, and concerned about “affordable housing,” which is basically a wealth transfer to “poor” people, and the entry of government into the housing market. That entry drives up house prices by the way.

They cannot figure out how not just home prices, but rents have gone up:

homeowners aren’t the only ones bearing the burden; renters are affected as landlords endure heftier costs. Fair market rents have escalated from 2023, by $250 monthly for a two-bedroom and $330 for a three-bedroom unit.

“The problem we set out to tackle has only gotten more challenging,” he told county commissioners and city council members during his presentation.

Gale praised the city and county’s impact on affordable housing, noting a combined $80 million put toward the measures in recent years.

So, they can’t figure out how raising taxes to pay for all this has increased prices. Yep, that’s the intelligence of New Hanover County, a county under about 100 years of Democrat rule.

Not shocked.

The county has devoted $15 million over five years — $3 million annually — to affordable housing, which is now in year three. This has helped usher in 664 units overall since, leading to a $131 million investment into the community.

In the last year only, the county’s programs brought in 238 affordable units, with 381 households utilizing GAP rental assistance programs. In the same time frame, the City of Wilmington has brought in 287 units and helped more than 18,000 individuals, Gale said.

Their remedy is to…wait for it…spend more money on “affordable housing!” We do not have to wonder how this will turn out for the socialist city of Wilmington. More poverty and more unaffordable living spaces that will in fact drive out lower classes, and leave the town with a San Francisco problem of rich elites who will then cry loudly how racist everyone is but them.
