When Education Demanded Beauty in the Body
As I have been researching for the next chapter on Grant, which, begins in 1869 and his first term, I ran across a full page art drawing of education in America. It speaks to the manly pursuits, that which we have irretrievably lost in the myriad of so called sports. These pursuits were about building a manly physique, which, meant, healthy body healthy mind. Must bring back in new form of education fitted for the modern world, which means, against higher ed we have today. Real education means education for real men, who are not afraid to be men.
