Veronica Carter Takes Advantage of Disabled Veterans?

A Visually Healthy Leland Council Member Takes a Disabled spot at Harris Teeter

Imagine my surprise that Veronica Carter—known to us here as Sluggo or “her great rotundity” PBUH—pulled into the Harris Teeter parking lot to do some shopping in Waterford.

She immediately pulled into a disabled parking spot. Not knowing whether something happened to her to do such an audacious thing, I wondered if she had been hurt in some way. However, after parking, she got out with a bag of fast food and, while talking on the phone, walked across the drive and into the store, unimpeded, and not needing assistance. In fact, she perambulated (waddled) without being out of breath, and had no visible ailments, (certainly no shortness of breath), as she was on the phone the entire time while walking, all the way into into her shopping experience.

She needed no assistance.

There’s nothing like going into a public place, and having to listen to some self-important person talking on the phone the entire time.

The photo above is her car in said spot. It is a Lexus ES350—retail starts at 44k and goes up from there. This is not an old car.

Also, notice, she has no disabled license plate. She has a “retired veteran” plate. However, she did have a disabled placard:

The placard expires 2/26. That means it is 10 months away from expiring.

According to the NCDMV, this cannot be a temporary placard, because, those are only granted for 6 months tops and are not renewable.

Now, this is where things get sticky—she has to have a placard only if a physician agrees:

Based on visual evidence, she is able to move freely all without assistance.

She has no mobility impairment. She MAY have some neurological or orthopedic impairment, but those also are NOT visible.

She walked just fine for an obese person. She moved with as much alacrity as one would expect with no limps, stumbles, shortness of breath, or any other effects that may cause pain.

Is this fraudulent? Maybe. Placard fraud has been increasing:

But I do not think that Carter’s situation applies to the latter frauds. I do think this is an example of taking advantage of the system, with a compliant quack, who then with the utmost lenience, grants the document to an obese woman who may have complained about a corn on her foot a long time ago, or something.

The NCDMV states that if a person gets a permanent placard, they may renew online without recertification. IF this is what is going on here, Carter is taking advantage of the system and defrauding the state because, she has no visible ailment in the present, even if she once did in the past.

Regardless, Sluggo is in fact taking a spot from a real disabled person, and a veteran, and is quite able to walk on her own without assistance in the present. This is a public servant doing this. Limousine liberals always do stuff like this.

We expect this behavior from her. She publicly has chastised the citizens of this town for not showing “mercy.” We have accounted these details in past posts. She wants mercy but never practices mercy.

Where is Veronica Carter’s mercy for people who are actually disabled?
