In the video below, cued up for ease, we find a discussion of the unrepresentative Leland Council regarding the development of Mallory Creek by questionable Builder DR Horton.

In a part of that debate, Her Great Rotundity, Veronica Carter aka Sluggo, PBUH drops the race card stating that a trail going through a corridor called a “plantation” was “offensive” because….of….something.

The mayor (who always seems just a touch inebriated), tries to calm her since she was actually out of order, and was also adrift of the narrow purpose of the meeting, which was, zoning. Carter did not care, and kept going.

Let’s remind ourselves of a part of what she said:

The idea is not just to have a bike-ped trail, we have bike-ped trails all over the place, and we have plans for them to reach our communities; the idea is to capture the history and the culture, Quite frankly — and this is a point of personal privilege here [ed. why? You are not Gullah Geechee] — for you to say that we’re running the Gullah Geechee trail through something that’s named plantation — that’s troubling.”

See the video below, and also if you watch the full video, a nice game to play while Sluggo preaches, is every time she mentions “just throwin’ that out there” you take a drink.

The problem here is that while she (to put this in left wing terms) racially appropriates another culture, she also intimates she identifies as one of them. She is not. It’s a lie.

But it gets worse: she literally picks and choose which are good Gullah Geechee and which are not.
