WAAV Fires Nick Craig
Along List of Failures for the Cumulus Media Station
Many people woke up over a week ago to hear WAAV has fired yet another conservative (loosely speaking) radio talk show host.
As I have noted in this substack, I had my issues with Nick Craig—he does not understand MAGA nor truly know what time it is in this country. But, I liked his show because he at least covered NC politics in ways the leftist Democrats oligarchs do not. He was the only voice that countered legacy media.
Now he is gone.
Here is his statement:
Word has it, the brass walked into the studio, and handed him his walking papers. Then Immediately yanked him off the air.

Nick Craig took over for the truly awful Tyler Cralle. He was allegedly a “conservative” but he was really a libertarian, and his radio show was…not as informative as Craig’s. Craig was also at least interesting.
NC has been in a deep hole radio wise since the departure of the best talent in the state left in the early 2000s: Jerry Agar. But, Craig was a nice respite from the Democrats (who are not democratic) in Wilmington. And Democrats have run that town for 100 years. Their inability to do anything for their base of constituents is all you need to know about the scam slave mentality of their party in that town.
Shame on the WAAV.
Truly awful! Ouch. Couldn't have just said awful? You had to add truly? I do appreciate you spelling my name correctly though :). However, please don't say I was a libertarian. Calling me a libertarian is worse than calling me "truly awful" haha. Do not lump in with those nuts. I was, and still am, a neoconservative. Libertarian on economic issues, but the complete opposite on national security.
