Well said. (But, since when does making sense matter?) Time to move?

There are two things I would say about this; 1) it really is the same all over. Where would you go? Texas? Florida? Each have their particular problems. Georgia is in the thralls of such complete BS at the state level (and it is controlled by Atlanta) that makes it not an option. SC is still decent despite their representation in DC on the Senate side. Alabama, Louisiana are options though too. Lots of cheap land there. Mississippi, also an option. Out west, Arizona has a real battle on its hands, and so that is out. Idaho has capitulated to the Chinese cobalt mining, and there is a huge water rights battle as a result. Oregon? fugetaboutit. Montana is still relatively sane, as are the Dakotas, and there’s cheap land still to be had there. Texas, NM, and AZ have the migrant issue…so 2) what I am saying is, you will trade one set of problems here for another. In the end, we all have to be more engaged. Keeping a republic is hard, but a duty. In the end, this is a personal choice. We all have to make it.

OK. Mars it is! (Every one will be so busy trying to stay alive, they won't have time for politics. 😉😉) Seriously,I hadn't heard about the Idaho and cobalt issue. I have a cousin living there. They moved from Oregon some years back. WRT "change," maybe the old addage "is good" might apply.
